The view and location were absolutely phenomenal, surrounded by the lush Samana jungle and with plenty of nearby activities to explore. The owners were incredibly friendly and attentive, speaking multiple languages and providing excellent service. The eco-friendly measures taken at the hotel, such as solar power and paper straws, were impressive and appreciated. Additionally, the dinner options were outstanding, with a great selection of vegan, vegetarian. The breakfast was also tasty and customizable, making for a satisfying start to the day. Clean rooms, a cozy pool, and beautiful interior design added to the overall positive experience.
While there were few downsides to mention, the water pressure in the hotel was not great, which seems to be a common issue in the area. Additionally, the road leading to the hotel was not well maintained and could be problematic after heavy rain, with potholes making the journey a bit difficult.
